How are acupuncturists educated?
In New York State, acupuncturists must hold a Master’s Degree from a nationally accredited institution and be board-certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Abigail Thomas is Board Certified in Oriental Medicine and holds both a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine and a Doctorate in Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine.
